Keep your eyes on the Fort CPA Building at 407 Wilcox Street.
This June, artists Josh Eller and Emma Gottschalk from Minneapolis, Minnesota will be creating a one-of-a-kind mural on the side of the Fort building. Said Eller and Gottschalk, “We firmly believe in the power of murals, and creativity in general, to bring joy, love, and hope as well as spark conversations amidst challenging times. As emerging artists, we’re excited to share this joy with your community and offer a sense of positive change for the future.”
“Public art is a great way to bring hopeful energy to a location and unite the community – our design aims to do just that. Our vision for the project is to use vibrant colors, bold illustration style, and inspiring language to contribute to the liveliness of Castle Rock” said Eller.
Ms. Gottschalk shared, “Our previous murals and creative experiences have been centered around community engagement and bringing joy to the spaces we work in.”
